RUNNING bamboo, can grow to 3 metres tall. With large, greatly swollen disk-like nodes, preferred for use as walking sticks all over China. Foliage is small & delicate, drooping & elegant. Sought after for its delicious shoots. Can handle cold winters down to -20c.
